John Thorne [Managing
Director]
John
brings with him considerable experience managing technology companies,
having founded one of South Africa's first commercial internet service
providers. Previously a medical
doctor and jazz saxophonist, John is a creative manager with a deep
understanding of organisational dynamics. Under his leadership
Jam Warehouse has attracted a number of top talents in the IT field and
the company has grown from strength to strength. John focuses on
developing people and teams and has established long term partnerships
with organisations in both South Africa and Europe.

Daniel Chalef
[Technology Director]
Daniel
is responsible for the achievement of technology-related objectives at
Jam Warehouse. These objectives include the development of core
software competencies and processes, and the management and development
of the software engineering team. Daniel has extensive industry
experience in a number of vertical markets ranging from Internet access
provision to cellular telecoms and B2B and B2C eCommerce.

Richard
Weissenberg [Project Director]
Richard is responsible for all project-related activities,
including new business development, project structuring and
project methodology. He was previously a senior manager in
Accenture’s strategy & business architecture practice.
During his time at Accenture, he was lead architect for a
major re-engineering of one of South Africa’s biggest
banks, and directed teams on a number of critical strategy
engagements for blue-chip organisations. These included
market analysis; acquisition target analysis and merger
negotiation support. He also led process redesign and
organisational design projects, with a special focus on CRM
and customer-centric business architecture. Prior to that,
he was PR director of Saatchi & Saatchi Business
Communications in London, designing and executing
pan-European marketing campaigns. He has also spent two
years as a civil engineer, and three years as a
professional jazz musician.Richard is a regular contributor
to UCT’s MBA programmes as a guest lecturer and external
examiner.

Denham Trollip [Business Development Director]
Denham is
responsible for development of Jam Warehouse services, development of
key customer and partner relationships, and for project-related
activities such as project structuring, project methodology, project
direction, and coaching of project personnel.
Denham has been an ICT and business consultant since 1986 and has extensive
experience in overseeing the conceptualization and delivery of ICT
solutions. He has played key roles on many ICT projects over the past
20 years that have focused on Knowledge Management, BPR, ERP, CRM,
systems integration, custom systems development and systems
implementation. He has established and led a number of software
development and implementation entities and has project managed a
number of large consulting and systems development engagements in the
Financial Services, FMCG/Retail and Energy sectors. During this time
Denham has held various advisory roles related to ICT strategy,
product, service, and systems development.
Concurrently Denham acquired extensive experience with research
methodology and statistics during ten years as a part time research
consultant and statistician in the social sciences and humanities.

Thom Noble [Managing
Director: Jam Warehouse UK]
Thom is an intuitive, senior FMCG (fast moving consumer
goods)-trained marketing director with a wealth of UK and
International experience re-energizing world famous brands
for listed, fast-changing companies in the Healthcare,
Drinks, Entertainment and Leisure sectors. He has a
powerful blend of strategic, operational and commercial
skills and is an ardent believer in consumer-driven
planning. His experience in international and UK leadership
of high profile brands include Thomson, Universal Studios,
Disney, Smirnoff, Foster’s, John Smith’s, Aqua Libra,
Badedas and Beecham.
