Jam Warehouse has a team of 30 people in Cape Town, and three in its UK office.
Our engineers are chosen for their first-class university results and most experience building critical systems for demanding clients. In addition, we have a number of experienced business and process analysts, software testers, trainers, change managers, interface designers and documentation experts.

Richard is a director of Jam Warehouse, responsible for all commercial aspects of the business. He is a thought leader on business process design, both internally and as an adviser to our clients. Richard spent five years at Accenture, where he was a senior manager in financial services, specialising in strategy and business architecture. His engagements included lead architect roles in business re-engineering projects, as well as design and evaluation of new ventures. He has counseled at board level on business strategy, process and organisational design, merger negotiations, acquisition targeting and valuation, and customer relationship management. Prior to joining Accenture, he worked in civil engineering and then marketing communications. For five years he was Public Relations Director at Saatchi & Saatchi Business Communications in London. He has directed UK and pan-European marketing campaigns for blue-chip companies including Castrol, Ericsson and NCR. He also spent three years as a professional jazz musician. Richard has a degree in civil engineering from Imperial College, London, a diploma in music from the South African College of Music and an MBA from the University of Cape Town, where he was elected an Old Mutual gold medal scholar for outstanding academic performance. He contributes to the MBA programme at UCT as a guest lecturer and external examiner. |

Denham is responsible for building key customer and partner relationships and for developing Jam Warehouse's offerings. Denham has been an information and communications technology (ICT) and business consultant since 1986 and has extensive experience in overseeing the conceptualisation and delivery of ICT solutions. He has played key roles on many ICT projects over the past 20 years and has established and led a number of software development and implementation groups. Denham's experience with ICT project design contributes to the successful delivery of Jam Warehouse projects, since he is often actively involved in mitigating project risks and coaching project teams. Denham has held various advisory roles related to ICT strategy and product, service and systems development, and has extensive experience with research methodology and statistics. His experience and knowledge help to ensure that our projects realise the benefits they promise. |

Rory has invaluable experience working at ground level in some of the leading fast-moving consumer goods retailers in the UK and South Africa. As a member of our UK team, Rory was based at the Tesco head office for two years, and was involved in the implementation of their BrandDirector™ system. Responsible for training Tesco employees and suppliers all over Europe, Rory devised several training programmes and support frameworks. Since returning to South Africa in 2006, he has been embedded in the Woolworths head office and has done consultation work for SA Breweries and Foschini. Rory has broad experience in the analysis and development of business processes and provides a crucial link between end users and our developers. |

Adriaan has a broad understanding of the ICT industry, based on his education and experience as an entrepreneur, software developer and business consultant. He got involved in his first ICT startup, an asset management software company, while finishing his engineering degree. Following this, Adriaan was a successful software developer in the pharmaceutical, engineering and mobile sectors. During this time he held positions ranging from junior developer to team leader. His next major venture was a startup that successfully pitched a channel-wide mobile interactive service to e.tv. Adriaan subsequently consulted in the mining, engineering and retail fields, with a focus on ICT. Adriaan has a dual role at Jam Warehouse. In his primary role, he manages projects at Sanlam, SA Breweries, Tesco and others, and he also does business analysis consulting at Foschini, Spur and SA Breweries. |
